Today is 9-5 at the office, with a 40 minute free weight workout and tabata session squeezed in during the lunch break.Then its home by ten pm and a kb circuit train for 20 minutes and shadow box/jump rope session to cool down. Gotta love it!
Its getting hot: the last four days of rain which seemed to announce the rainy season in Japan suddenly disappeared into a piercing blue sky that radiates heat instead of cool. The rain will come, just a matter of time. Training in the evening hours or early morning becomes ever more enticing, especially since that’s often the only time the breeze kicks in.
Yesterday was a day off- just plenty of sleep and eat and stretch as my body rests and adjusts to increasing volume workloads, done very very gradually. A little bit of TLC was definitely in order.Its nice to know that you want to train, but you give yourself the time to break and recover. It takes just as much discipline in me to order myself to take a rest as it does for me to go workout- humans!
I am inspired, and why shouldn’t I be? I will be getting some excellent kettlebell instruction plus a plethora of other information off some of the best in the world within a month, and can use that to spread good information rather than more of the often incorrect stuff we see on the internet. To get together with a bunch of like minded individuals and share your passion- what more is there to life!
I have had a request for training each day out of the last week, and it feels good to be able to join with others in the enthusiastic pursuit of keeping healthy. As with anything, all it takes is time and persistence, and practicing what you preach.
